My Casey Anthony Theory

Here's my theory: Cindy Anthony was always telling Casey that she was a horrible mother. Casey accidentally did something that caused her daughter's death...not murder...maybe she would put her to sleep with the chloroform so she could go out and party and not need her parents to babysit or whatever. It goes horribly wrong and Caylee dies. She was too afraid to admit what she did and tried to cover it up etc. I think her dad did try to help her cover it up. I don't think Cindy knew anything in the beginning - but by the time she took the stand she knew what really happened and then she wanted to save the life of her daughter.

I don't think Casey is guilty of murder. I do think she is guilty of manslaughter...they just didn't have any real physical evidence that was strong enough to convict her on it and she is manipulative and conniving enough to be able to lie and refuse to come clean...and without her confession and any physical evidence...she walks. Her dad had enough experience as a detective to know what to do with the body to make sure there would be no evidence that could lead back to Casey.

It's too bad none of the jurors held out to at least make them try her again and maybe buy some time in hopes that one of three Anthony's would finally slip up and say something that could have put her away for what she did.

I think you've got a decent theory there. The prosecution definitely over reached on their charges given the evidence they had. If they had just gone for manslaughter by itself they might have gotten somebody to say something that would help break the case open, but what parent is going to say something that could risk putting their daughter to death?

None. Putting myself in those same shoes, I don't know what I would do. It would destroy me to not only lose my grand daughter, but my daughter, too. You may as well lock me up in a padded room and throw away the key. Remember, Casey was once an innocent baby. You don't just throw away all of your precious memories of her as a beautiful daughter who you raised. Unfortunately she wandered down a hideous past and has become someone ugly and hateful, but her parents are consumed by the memories of who she used to be. Of course they will want to hold on to the hope that the sweet, innocent daughter they once knew is still inside her somewhere.

This is just a sad, sad story all the way around.

Wow! Really Mr. Anthony? Now you want to come out and say you think Casey OD'd. Hmmmm, sounds familiar. I don't think my initial theory is a bit off the mark. Her family covered for her to keep her from having to go to jail or get the death penalty.
